Introduction

If you already know there is going to be a higher demand for your book, we encourage authors to invest in offset printing. Offset printing offers a lower cost per book when ordering in larger quantities because the setup costs are more spread out. Thus, the more you print, the lower the cost per book.

Requesting a Quote

Before offering a free quotation, we need answers to the following questions:

1. Size of book (5 ½” x 8 ½”, 6 x 9, 7” x 10”, or 8 ½” x 11” are the common sizes, but we can get you prices on custom sizes as well)
2. Type of binding (Perfect-bound or Case-bound. If Case-bound, you also have the option of a cloth cover with foil stamping, or a full color laminated hard cover)
3. Number of pages (an estimate is fine for now)
4. Number of books you want (The more books you print, the less each book costs. Our average number of broader-scope books printed is 2000 to 5000.)

Turn-Around Time

It generally takes about eight weeks to print a book after the proof is approved. The completed books will be shipped to your address with payment for shipping by personal check paid by you upon delivery. This shipping cost will be deleted from your final bill.

Terms

If you provide an electronic file, or a camera-ready copy, our payment schedule is 60% with order and 40% thirty days after the books are delivered. If we help you with the layout and design, the terms are 30% with order, 30% at press time, and 40% thirty days after the books are delivered.
