You may also be interested in marketing your book to other bookstores. We also act as a distributor for many of the books we help people publish. When we act as distributor for your book, we include your book in a monthly catalog mailing to over 450 bookstores and libraries throughout the United States and Canada.

To sell your book successfully takes a lot of time and commitment, but can be a lot of fun! Ask local bookstores and events if you can have a book signing. Be prepared, and bring bookmarks, postcards, business cards and flyers promoting your books. Also use these promotional pieces in the community and at other events.

Another way to target readers is through direct mailings. This is especially useful if you have a list of people interested in the topic of your book. We can help you design, and print postcards or brochures, and then mail them at a bulk rate, much cheaper than your usual postage rate. If the book is local, mailings can be sent to an entire community or zip code, at an even cheaper postage rate.

More and more authors are looking to promote their books online. We can help you setup a website for your book, and accept online orders through PayPal or have all orders received through Masthof, so you don’t have to worry about shipping and handling. Simple websites start at just $9.95/month.

Masthof Bookstore requires a 40% discount off the retail price to sell your book for you in our catalog and bookstore. As a distributor, we require a 55% discount off the retail price to sell and market your book to other bookstores and libraries including Borders, Barnes & Noble, Provident, and about 450 more.
